Follow up visits

Following a successful fitting of  a hearing aid system it is important to for the client to maintain in regular contact with the Hearing aid audiologist. At Clements and Osborne we ensure this by a programme of 6 monthly review sessions, which are booked on your behalf by our staff.

This as an opportunity to discuss any problems which have arisen with your hearing aid audiologist, who will as a matter of routine carry out the following checks during the review:

 -A retest of hearing every two years or sooner if the client reports a noticed change in hearing ability.

 -Video Otoscopic examination of the ear canals and ear drum.

 -A circuit test of the hearing aid

 -A thorough clean using specialised vacuuming equipment.

 -Reprogramming of the hearing aid settings if needed

 -A review of usage patterns and re-instruction in usage and maintenance as necessary.

The client is of course free to call on our services at any time inbetween programmed review visits.
